ANDERSON, Dorothy Margaret "Peggy" - Head of St. Margaret's Bay, passed away following a lengthy illness in the VG Site, QEII, Halifax, on Tuesday, October 11, 2005. Born in 1915 in Montreal, she was the daughter of the late Capt. Ernest John and Dorothy Alice (Cottingham) Butler. Peggy attended school in Ontario, Manitoba and Nova Scotia. She traveled extensively in Canada and England visiting relatives. She was active in the Scout movement and was awarded an honor for her work. Her hobbies included many beautiful needlework pieces, reading and bird watching. She enjoyed a game of cribbage and visiting from family friends. She is survived by her niece, Dorothy and husband Gordon Hatcher; great-nieces, Vivian and Melissa Moar; great-nephew, Edward and wife Mary Moar; two grandnieces and one grandnephew. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Harold Fenwick; brother, Bufton Albert Butler; sister-in-law, Ruby Helen Christina (Butler) Newhook; niece, Elizabeth Joan (Butler) Moar; grandniece, Elizabeth Ann Moar Dempsey. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Friday, October 14, in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy's Cove Rd, Tantallon. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, October 15, in St. George's Anglican Church, Head of St. Margaret's Bay, Rev. Mark Marshall officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
