
| BAKER, Jack Delbert - 66, Chester Basin, passed away August 8, 2002, in the Palliative Care Unit, QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Upper Blandford, he was a son of Pearl (Gates) Baker and the late Harris Baker. Jack retired from Air Canada in 1993 with 18 years of service, also a member for 37 years with the Royal Canadian Legion, F.E. Butler Branch, Chester. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Faith Virginia (Brigley); sons, Wayne Graves, Marriotts Cove; Eldon Graves, Vancouver, B.C.; daughters, Patricia Graves, Edmonton; Vicky Remedios, Chester; sister, Betty McGinn, Carleton Place, Ont.; grandchildren, Nathan, Jamie, Nicholas, Allan, Amanda and Melissa. He was predeceased by infant brother, Lloyd. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Saturday in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards. Cremation to follow. Memorial service 11 a.m. Monday in St. Stephen's Anglican Church, Chester, Rev. Jim McCorriston officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
