BANFIELD, Claude Eldon - 81, Hammonds Plains, passed away suddenly Sunday, April 6, 2003, in Varadero, Cuba, while vacationing with his best friend and companion, Jacquline Petterson. Claude was a skilled electrician retired from the Halifax Dockyard and Eaton's. Surviving beside his companion are his brothers, Lorne, Tantallon; Frank, Dartmouth. He was predeceased by his mother and father; wife, Jean; sister, Verna. A memorial service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Hwy. 333, Tantallon, Rev.
