BOUTILIER, Alvin Henry Joseph - 71, Seabright, passed away Monday, June 19, 2006, in QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Seabright, he was a son of the late Ernest and Isabelle (Morash) Boutilier. Alvin worked 18 years as a mechanic with Wood Motors Ford before returning to the waters of St. Margaret's Bay where he fished commercially until his health forced him to retire. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, the former Lottie Mae Doubleday; son, David (Sandra), and daughter, Donna (Jeffrey Lindas) Boutilier, both of Seabright; brothers, Melvin (Thelma), Halifax; Sydney (Pauline), David, Wilson (Eileen), Willard, and sister, Lillian, all of Seabright; his granddaughters, Alina and Andrea Boutilier (his little angels), and a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, Gerald; sisters, Lorraine and Hilda; a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy's Cove Road, Tantallon. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday in Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Tantallon, Pastor Pedro Gracia officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. Family flowers only.
