BOUTILIER, Barbara Ellen "Bunny"-  71, Halifax, died suddenly at home Saturday, February 27, 2010. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Lawson and Edith (Johnson) Passfield. Bunny was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion and worked as Treasurer for the Halifax Central Poppy Fund for many years and was the Poppy Chairman for the White Ensign Legion Branch No. 129. She was on the Board of Directors for Walter Callow Bus Services and a former employee of Scotia Fuels. Bunny enjoyed spending time at her cottage in Clam Harbour and challenging all her friends to a game of crib. She will be fondly remembered by her family and many friends for her many kind acts and generosity to all. Bunny was predeceased by her husband, Ian. Survived by her son, Lawson (Lorri), Delta, B.C.; daughter, Ruth (Evan Roy) Boutilier, Seabright; brother, Harry "O". (Wendy Isnor) Passfield, Indian Harbour; grandsons, Chase Boutilier, Delta, B.C.; Joseph Bellefontaine (Roy), Ontario; and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, March 6, in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy's Cove Rd., Tantallon, Rev. Mark Marshall officiating.
