BOUTILIER, Foster James "Ducieó 59, of Upper Tantallon, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family Tuesday, June 2, 2009, in QEII Health Sciences Center, Halifax. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Foster A. and Lorraine B. (Boutilier) Boutilier. Ducie worked the waterfront as a Longshoreman for over 30 years and was a member of the Longshoreman's Local 269 Union. He enjoyed hunting and fishing; he was fascinated by old clocks and enjoyed collecting them. Ducie was also an avid Fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Foster left behind a heart broken wife of 37 years, Valerie; three wonderful children; daughters, Debbie (Steve) Pauley, Upper Tantallon; Penny (Mike MacDougall), Hubley; son, Trevor (Colleen MacLeod), Hammonds Plains; grandchildren, Levi, Tristin, Justin, Jenelle, Chelsea and Julian; brother, Stephen (Angela), Wooden's River, Seabright; nephews, Jereomy, Evan, great-nephew, Shay; mother-in-law, Deborah Fleet, Upper Tantallon. Besides his parents he is predeceased by his father-in-law, Fred Fleet. The family will receive visitors 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Saturday in the Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy's Cove Rd., Tantallon. Funeral service 3 p.m., Sunday from St. Margaret's Anglican Church, Tantallon. Rev. Mark Marshall officiating. Burial to follow in William Black Memorial Cemetery, Glen Margaret. Special thank you to the staff of 6B and the Dialysis Unit, the angels and doctors who cared for Foster through the past eight years.
