BOUTILIER, James Almon - 87, Tantallon, passed away Monday, March 27, 2006, in the New Halifax Infirmary, Halifax. Born in Tantallon, he was a son of the late Angus and Margaret (Noonan) Boutilier. Jimmy worked for 33 years with Lester B. Smith Const. He was a veteran of the Second World War serving in France, Belgium, Holland and Germany with the Owen Cameron Highlanders 68 Regiment. He is survived by daughter, Linda, Amherst; stepdaughters, Sheila (Albert) Doubleday, Tantallon; Edna Jullien, Halifax; stepson, Frank (Pat) Johnson, Fredericton; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Flora Church; son, Terry; brothers, Miles and Roy; sisters, Jessie, Josephine, Jean, Nellie, Ninara, and Lettie. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday in St. Margaret's Anglican Church, Tantallon, Rev. Mark Marshall officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
