BOYLE, Margery Eleanor Rose - 84, Halifax, formerly of Head of St. Margaret's Bay, passed away after a long battle with Alzheimer's on Wednesday, July 4, 2007, in Glades Lodge, Halifax. Born in Halifax, Margery was a daughter of the late Alfred and Ethel Emily (Dray) Cook. She resided in Head of St. Margaret's Bay until several years ago, going into care at Glades Lodge and Hillcrest Manor, Truro. She is survived by her daughters, Carol (Lorne) Bulmer, Kennetcook; Joyce Joy, Hilden; sons, Earl, Head of St. Margaret's Bay; Kent (Rose), Boutilier's Point; Howard Jr., Halifax Regional Municipality; Carman, Eastern Passage; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Howard Boyle; sister, Lila Dauphinee; brothers, Alfred and Henry Cook; son, Raymond, and grandson, Derek. Margery is also survived by the many caring staff at Glades Lodge, especially Maude Forrest. Margery was an active member of Head of St. Margaret's Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school. She was a homemaker and enjoyed children, crafts and animals. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549, Peggy's Cove Rd., Tantallon. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday in St. Margaret's Bay Baptist Church, Head of St. Margaret's Bay, Rev. Richard Moore officiating. Burial to follow in Baptist Cemetery, Mason's Point.
