
| BUTLER, Ronald Jack - Passed away February 13, 2004, at home. Born in Barrie, Ont., he was the son of the late Jack and Clara (Spearn) Butler. Ron was a Geologist working and teaching in the mining industry throughout Eastern Canada. Ron, along with his wife Cynthia, operated the Candle on the Water Bed and Breakfast. He was an active member of the Blandford Volunteer Fire Department, Chester/St. Margaret's Bay Chamber of Commerce and the Inn Keepers Association. He is survived by sons, Richard (Bernadette), Edmonton, Alta.; Robert (Leah), Wilmot; Craig (Carla), Mississauga, Ont.; daughter, Kimberley (Roger Wilson), Toronto; Pamela (Shawn Nelson), North Bay; grandchildren, Logan, Tyler, Kenda, Sarah, Jamie, Natalie, Angela, Christopher, Joshua and Taitum; sister, Anne Tomlinson, Barrie, Ont. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Cynthia Draper. The family will receive visitors 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, February 19, in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday in St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Blandford, Rev. Jim McCorriston and Dan Green officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
