"Sandy" Alexander Clark Boutilier

Sandy passed away peacefully on January 29, 2012, at Oakwood Terrace Nursing Home at the age of 84.  Sandy was born on May 6, 1927, the son of Stuart and Annis (Hamilton) Boutilier in Boutliers Point. He became a skilled mason and was well known for his beautiful brickwork. He worked for C.W. Stone for several years and then went on to work for the Halifax School Board, from where he retired. He loved to play Auction 45’s and crib. Sandy was always very easy going and willing to help his neighbors whenever he could. He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Madeline (Meisner) Boutilier, son Darrell (Kaye) Boutilier, daughter Lynn (Tom) Hatt and son Colin (Karen) Boutilier. He is also survived by his grandchildren, David (Kelly) Coolen, Ryan Boutilier and Holly Boutilier, and great grandson David Joshua Coolen.
