Passed away on Sunday, February 13, at the Halifax Infirmary. Born in Hackett’s Cove, he was the son of the late Helen and Robie Boutilier. He is survived by a son Arthur, Hackett’s Cove, a daughter Colleen, Dartmouth, a step-son Shawn, Dartmouth, two grandchildren, Isaac and Rachael, a sister Joan (Don Hood), Hackett’s Cove, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Helen and Robie, two sisters Belle and Gwyneth, and a brother Ralph. The body has been cremated. There will be a get together at a later date when friends and family will be able to share their memories of Elmer. He will be deeply missed by family and close friends. Donations may be made in Elmer’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
