Cynthia Lorraine Butler-62, Blandford, passed away at home on Tuesday, January 16, 2001. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Rita Draper. Cynthia and her husband Ron operated the Candle on the Water Bed and Breakfast, Blandford. She was a member of St. Barnabas Anglican Church Council, choir and sewing guild. Survived by her husband, Ron; sons, Richard (Bernadette) Edmonton, Alta.; Robert (Leah), Wilmot; Craig (Carla), Mississauga, Ont.; daughters, Kimberley (Mrs. Roger Wilson), Toronto; Pamela (Mrs. Shawn Nelson), Nepean, Ont.; grandchildren, Logan, Tyler, Kenda, Sarah, Jaimie, Natalie, Angela, Christopher. Predeceased by brother, Christopher. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors Friday, January 19, 2001, 2-4, 7-9 p.m. in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards. Memorial service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Blandford, Rev. Randy Townsend officiating. Committal in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Barnabas Church Building Fund.
