
| CARDINAL, Brian George - Hubbards, passed away suddenly at home, May 22, 2002. Born in Hamilton, Ont., he was the son of Catherine (Collins) and the late George Cardinal. Brian served 25 years with the Royal Canadian Armed Forces. He then worked 5 years with Stelco Steel in Hamilton. Then joined the Department of Fisheries, before retiring with 12 years of service. He was also a faithful member of St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Hubbards. He was a member of St. Augustines and St. Anthony's Cemetery Committee. He was a former member of the Rails for Trails Association. He is survived by his loving wife, Teresa (Murphy); sons, Kevin (Maryanne), Arksansel, Paul, Hubbards; daughters, Michelle (Robert) George, Kentville; Holly (Sylvan), Quebec; four grandchildren. He was predeceased by stepson, Corey Murphy. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m., 7-9 p.m. today in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 25, in St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Rev. Brian Murphy officiating, followed by cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or a charity of your choice. |
