COLPITTS, Athena Belle - 93, Indian Harbour, passed away February 26, 2002, in QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. She was a daughter of the late Rowland and Ellen (Spinney) Forbes. She was a graduate of Acadia University and was very active in her church and community. She is survived by her chosen sons, David (Joice) Jeffery, Texas; Byong (Joung) Lee, Kentville; nephews, Roger Sears, Shelburne; Roland Sears, New Glasgow; grandnieces, Heather, Crystal, Joye, Ellen, Laura, Jessica; great-grandnephew, Alec; a number of grandchildren; her chosen family, James and Valma Saunders, Indian Harbour. She was predeceased by her husband, Rev. Alder R. Colpitts; sisters, Enid Smith, Kathryn Sears; niece, Janet Sears. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Tantallon. Memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, March 2, in Seabright Baptist Church, Rev. Terry Tingley officiating.
