CORNELIUS, Laurie Douglas - 74, Simms Settlement, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2003, in QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Boutilier's Point, he was a son of the late Foster and Maude (Boutilier-Nash) Cornelius. Laurie retired from Citadel Motors in the late 70s with 25 years of service. He is survived by son, Karl (Bev), Ingramport; daughters, Eunice (Greg) and Lyda (Jack Miller Jr.), both of Simms Settlement; brother, Arleigh (Marge), Middle Musquodoboit; sisters, Marion Mombourquette, Boutilier's Point; Nita (Graham) Lavers, Halifax; four grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Lyda Sylva; son, Stanley; brother, Arnold. The family will receive visitors 7-9 p.m. today in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards, where funeral service will take place 11 a.m. Saturday, Rev. Mark Marshall officiating. Burial to follow in St. James Anglican Church Cemetery, Fox Point.
