CORNEY, Madeline Carrie - 86, West Dover, passed away Monday July 6, 2009, at home. Born in West Dover, she was the daughter of the late Almon and Florence (Morash) Morash. Madeline retired from the Grace Maternity Hospital following 25 years of dedicated service. Madeline's passion was her family, family dinners and gatherings, to playing cards and bingo all shared with laughter. Madeline treasured spending time with her great- grandson Cameron. She is survived by her children, Earl (Barb), Ruth (Gerald) Allen, Lloyd (Anne), Beulah (Harold "Bud") Slaunwhite, Ann (David) Harrie, Audrey (Rick) Slaunwhite, Larry (Karen), Beverly (Brice) Morash; 18 grandchildren; 16 great- grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond; brothers, Reginald and Edgar. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m .Wednesday July 8 with funeral service at 11 a.m. Thursday July 9, both in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy's Cove Rd., Tantallon, Rev. Tom Kerr officiating. Burial to follow in St. James Anglican Church Cemetery, West Dover. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. James Anglican Church, West Dover. The family would like to extend special thanks to son Lloyd and daughter-in-law Anne who provided loving care to our dear mother from May 26 to the morning of her passing.
