CREWS, Clyde Alfred - 89, Boutilier's Point, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2008, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Lamaline, N.L., he was a son of the late Lewis and Mary (Walsh) Crews. Clyde was a resident of Boutilier's Point for over 63 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 118, a past patron of Mystic Star No. 40, and also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion No. 116. He is survived by his wife, Edith; sons, Clyde; Lewis (Lynn), Roy (Susan), David (Bonita), all of Boutilier's Point; Claude (Dale), Queensland; Ray (Bonnie), Tantallon; Ricci (Wendy), Alberta; Glenn (Elaine), Enfield; daughters, Kay (Doug) Vaughn, Saskatoon; Karen (Tom) Scully, New Brunswick; Molly (Don Hume), Alberta; Vera (Ed) Hassett, Ottawa; June (Stuart) Hughes, Boutilier's Point; brothers, Max, Newfoundland; Norman, Truro; sister, Gladys Wamback, Sackville; 25 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren. Funeral service 11 a.m. Thursday, January 17, in St. James Anglican Church, Boutilier's Point, Rev. Mark Marshall officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to charity of choice.
