DALZIEL (Kennedy), Eleanor Margaret- 86, Halifax, passed away peacefully Monday, October 27, 2008, in Northwood Centre, Halifax. Born April 18, 1922, in Head of St. Margaret's Bay, she was a daughter of the late Mark and Annie (Boutilier) Boutilier. Eleanor spent most of her years in Halifax working as a practical nurse for 35 years at the Victoria General and the Halifax Infirmary and later years with many private elderly people. She enjoyed listening to music and playing the accordion, piano and guitar with her son Daniel; she also enjoyed dancing. She is survived by her grandsons, James, Halifax; John Kennedy, Red Deer, Alta.; granddaughter, Heidi Rose, Truro; great-grandchildren, Daniel and Jacob; brother, George Boutilier, Eastern Passage; nephew, Wilbert (Billy) Kaiser, Tantallon; nieces, Anna Mae Druce and Donna Webber, Ontario; many great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, James Daniel Kennedy and her second husband, James Dalziel; son, Daniel James Kennedy; twin sisters, Jennie Mae and Laura Jane; twin brothers, Albert and Avery; sisters, Lydia Eleanor Kaiser and Hanna Eliza Boutilier; nephews, John William and Garin Allen Kaiser; niece, Brenda Lydia Hubley. A family committal service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, October 31, in St. James Anglican Church Cemetery, Boutilier's Point. Special thanks to nurse Marion MacDonald and all the staff of the 3rd floor Northwood Centre for all their wonderful care of Eleanor for her many years there.
