DILLMAN, Ronald Clarence - 77, passed away unexpectedly August 31, 2002, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Dartmouth, January 19, 1925, to Elmer and Alvina "Tina" (Barrett) Dillman, he is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Thelma May (Noseworthy) Dillman. He was the devoted father of Ronald Dillman (Pam), Indian Point; Margie Oliver (Rob), Halifax; Gerald Dillman, Hubley; Sherry Johnson (Alan), Timberlea, and Annette Wagner (Ken), Chicago; brother of Marjorie "Doreen" Brown, Halifax, and grandfather to 20 grandchildren. He was predeceased by cherished daughter, Linda Rose Smith (Wally), (Head of St. Margaret's Bay). He was decorated for his services during the Second World War with the Royal Canadian Engineer Corps. He returned to work as a blacksmith in the Halifax Shipyards, finishing his career in the Halifax Dockyards. His life was his family - always there when needed. He could be found in his garden or with his dog Coco on his lap. Funeral service will be held in St. George's Anglican Church, Head of St. Margaret's Bay today at 2 p.m. Refreshments and fellowship to follow in the church.
