DOCKRILL, Douglas Colin -  76, Seabright, passed away May 27, 2008, in the QEII Health Sciences Center. Born in Great Village, he was the son of the late Harold and Mary (Matheson) Dockrill. Dougís abundant creativity manifested itself through his paintings and gardening, though it was with his velvet tenor voice, and many dedicated years with the Chebucto Community Singers and the Royal Nova Scotia Tattoo Choir that his real passion found a home. He is survived by his wife, Dawn (Mount); sons, Colin and Peter, and granddaughter, Kaitlyn. He was predeceased by his sister, Joan Goldfinch. An artistic retrospective and reception will be held Friday, June 6, from 3-5 p.m. in the St. Margaret's Bay Sailing Club, Croucherís Point Road, Glen Haven. Cremation has taken place.
