DRAKE, Patricia Eileen Florence ìTishî-77, Head of St. Margaretís Bay, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2008, in QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late William and Muriel (Coolen) Barnes. Tish was raised in Halifax and then moved to Head of St. Margaretís Bay with her husband over 50 years ago.  In her earlier years, she worked with Maritime Tel & Tel. She was involved with her church, St. Georgeís Anglican Church; a keen sports person, including bowling softball and basketball. She was also an avid bingo and card player. She ìNannyî loved the company of Deniseís dog, Chelsea. She is survived by her daughter, Denise (Glen) Hicks, Head of St. Margaretís Bay. She was predeceased by her husband, John Dennis; brother, Walter, Eric; sisters, Rita (Doug) Fraser and June. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggyís Cove Road, Tantallon. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, April 4, in St. Georgeís Anglican Church, Head of St. Margaretís Bay, Rev. Mark Marshall officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Georgeís Anglican Church, Head of St. Margaretís Bay.
