DOCKRILL, Ronald Joseph - 78, of Hubley Mill Lake Rd., Upper Tantallon, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2001 at home. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Edward and Mary Dockrill. He was a veteran of the Second World War serving overseas in the Canadian Armed Forces. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 116, Seabright. He retired after 35 years with the IWK hospital for children. He was a loving father of Chris R., Glen Haven; Ronald B., Edmonton, AB; daughters, Heather D. (Mrs. Glenn Eisenhauer), Glen Haven; Donna M. (Mrs. Rod Edens), Cincinnati, Oh.; Sylvia F., Hackett's Cove; Judith A., Tantallon. He is also survived by a brother, Cyril B., Lakeside; sister, Marie Sweeney, Dartmouth, as well as 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Francis (Trim). Visitation will be Wednesday, 7-9 p.m. Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Tantallon. Funeral mass will be 2 p.m. Friday in St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church, Glen Margaret, Rev. James Richards officiating. Family burial in Oakridge Memory Gardens. Friends are invited to a time of fellowship at the funeral home following the service.
