EDELL (Norton), Nancy - Born in Omaha, Neb., November 12, 1942, died at home in Bayswater on the evening of Thursday, June 9, 2005. She was the daughter of the late Helen and Clayton Norton. She is survived by husband, Peter Walker; son, Gabriel Edell; daughter-in-law, Sarah, and granddaughter, Hyacinth; sister, Jan Weidenhammer and nieces, Molly and Nina; stepson, Jesse Walker, as well as an aunt and cousins. She will be deeply mourned by her family, her friends and the art community to which she so greatly contributed. Her humour, generosity and vibrancy cannot be replaced. A celebration of Nancy's life will take place at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, in North Street Church, Halifax, 5657 North St. (corner of Fuller Terrace). In keeping with the spirit of Nancy's life, her death will be celebrated with shared memories, drumming, food and booze.
