EISENHAUER, Adam Nicholas - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Adam Nicholas Eisenhauer, age 26, on Sunday, August 14, 2005. Adam was born and raised in the St. Margaret's Bay area and was currently living in Glen Haven. Adam's life was surrounded by loving family and special friends who were always there for him. Adam was a quadriplegic, who fought back after a tragic accident four years ago that almost took his life. His parents, family and friends had been amazed and so proud of his determination to be able to walk and live independently. His best buddy was his dog Lokey, who was always by his side and provided comfort that Adam so often needed. Adam was a fisherman as soon as he was old enough to hold a rod. Even with his disability he was a great sportsman who could always make a catch. He spent every day he could enjoying the river, stream and woods. His soul was in the earth, water and everything in nature. He is survived by his parents, Glenn and Heather (Dockrill) Eisenhauer, Glen Margaret; brother, Aaron, Gabriola Islands, B.C.; paternal grandfather, Robert Eisenhauer; aunts and uncles, Robert (Patricia) Eisenhauer, Ronald (Saskia) Dockrill, Judy (Murray) Munroe, Donna (Rod) Edens, Sylvia (Eddy) Boyd, Chris (Ginny) Dockrill, Heather Eisenhauer; several cousins and many close friends. He was predeceased by paternal grandmother, Laura Eisenhauer; maternal grandparents, Ronald and Dorothy Dockrill, and uncle, David Eisenhauer. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, August 19, in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy's Cove Rd., Tantallon, Rev. Mark Marshall officiating.
