FENERTY, Earl Norman - 88, Hubley, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2002, in the VG Site, QEII. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Arthur and Edith Fenerty. Earl was a veteran of the Second World War, serving overseas and returning to regular service before retiring in the early 50s. He worked on the Halifax dockyard, also for Halifax Laundry, Cousin's Dry Cleaning and retired in the late 70s from Farmers Dairy. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Surviving are a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Arthur, Tom, Tom in infancy, Morris, Harry, George; sisters, Erma, Maude, Bertha and Nellie. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Monday in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Tantallon, Rev. Mark Marshall officiating. Committal will be held at a later date in St. John's Cemetery, Halifax.
