FLOYD, Eleanor Francis - 82, Halifax, passed away Monday, July 14, 2003, in Northwood Care Inc., Halifax. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Helen (Ferguson) Harrop. Eleanor will be remembered always for her sense of humor and her love for family and friends. She was an avid swimmer, where she was often seen swimming in St. Margaret's Bay. Eleanor took great pride in her flower garden and while she was a resident of Northwood she spent many hours visiting and supporting the other residents. She is survived by sons, Douglas (Carol), Queensland; Eric (Annette), Boutilier's Point; grandson, Michael, Halifax; sister, Gwen (Basil) Josey, Halifax. She was predeceased by her husband, Malcolm; son, Alan; grandson, Mark; brother, Edgar. The family will receive visitors 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Hwy. 3, Tantallon. Funeral service 2 p.m. Friday in St. James Anglican Church, Boutilier's Point, Rev. Mark Marshall officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
