GILLIGAN, John Michael "Buddy" - 63, Hackett's Cove, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 25, 2007, at home. Born in Brockville, Ont., he was a son of the late Michael and Laura Gilligan. He was a proud Canadian who in his early years served aboard the HMCS Bonnaventure. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Linda (Boutilier); sons, Jimmy (Diane), Timberlea; Shawn (Shelly), Bedford; Aaron (Nicole), Hatchet Lake, and "favourite" daughter, Rebecca (Derek), Halifax; grandchildren, Andrew, Emma (Grandpa's special princess), Connor and Cassidy. He was predeceased by brothers, William and Jerome; sisters, Mary, Audrey, Delena, Virgery, and Marlene. It was John's "Buddy's" wishes that there be no services and that his family and friends remember him as a loving husband, father and a good friend to many.
