GRAVES, Philip Albert - 54, Sims Settlement, passed away February 28, 2002, in the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII. He was a son of the late Albert and Doris (Harnish) Graves. He was working the last 30 years in the glass industry with Kidston Glass Company and most recently with the Halifax Glass Company as a glass estimator. He was an avid sportsman, hunter and fisherman. Surviving are his wife, the former Sherry Coolen; sons, Jim, Hubbards; Gary, New Brunswick; brother, Roger (Betty), Chezzetcook; sisters, Linda Walsh, Boutilier's Point; Carol Quinn, Parrsboro; Rosanne (William) Verge, The Lodge; a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation 7-9 p.m. today in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards. Funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday in St. James Anglican Church, Fox Point, Rev. Mark Pretty officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. James Anglican Church or a charity of choice.
