HANNAM, Marion Joyce - 86, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 29, 2004, in QEII Health Science Centre, Halifax, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Clementsville, Annapolis Co., she was a daughter of the late Chipman and Laura (Wright) Brown. Marion was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She took great pleasure in knitting and quilting, and was also a long-time faithful member of Birchy Head Baptist Church. She will be fondly remembered by her family and all who knew her, for her kind, quiet and unassuming manner as well as her wit and sense of humour. Whenever possible, Marion loved to visit family and friends in the Annapolis Valley. She is survived by sons, Terry (Ginny), Fox Point; Peter (Judy), Sims Settlement; David, Halifax; Stephen (Betsey), Bridgewater; brother, Willard "John", Fox Point; grandchildren, Shelley, Shauna, Kara, Kristen, Colleen, Trevor, Andrew, Matthew, Jacob; great-grandchildren, Riley, Hannah, Sawyer; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Dennis L.; brothers, Roy, Ken, Gordon, Russell, Fred, Clyde, Allister "Buddy"; sisters, Nettie, Ethel, Pearl. Visitation today from 2-5 p.m. in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards. Funeral service to be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Birchy Head Baptist Church, Birchy Head, Rev. Richard Moore officiating.
