HARNISH, Clara Frances - 88, of Birchy Head, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2008, in the QEII Health Sciences Center, Halifax. Born in Montreal, she was the daughter of the late Noble and Clara (Henley) Melvin. Clara was a loving mother and will be remembered by her family and friends as an excellent seamstress and an avid musician. Survived by her sons, Ronald, Hubbards; Douglas, Birchy Head; daughter, Celia (Richard) Heisler, Birchy Head; grandchildren, Katrina, Hubbards; Richard (Karen), Birchy Head; great-grandchildren, Mary, Victoria, Dakota and Lincoln. Predeceased by her husband, Granville; brothers, Noble, Henry and Douglas. The family will receive visitors 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in the Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. Marks Anglican Church, Mill Cove, Rev. Laurie Omstead officiating. Burial to follow in St. James Anglican Church Cemetery, Fox Point.
