| HARTLEN, Albert Allen - 98, Head of St.
Margaret's Bay, passed away July 13, 2006, in QEII Health Sciences Centre,
Halifax. Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Welsford "Babe" and Pearl
(Mason) Hartlen (Mason's Point). Albert was a veteran and served with the No. 2
Platoon No. 1 Coy at Petawawa, Ont. He was a member of St. Margaret's Bay
Baptist Church for 70 years. He was a carpenter by trade. He is survived by his
wife of 65 years, the former Evelyn Boutilier; sister, Nellie Westhaver, Mason's
Point. He was predeceased by sisters, Hazel, Gladys, Irene, Pearl "Polly", Ella,
Ina, Ida, Helen; brothers, Clifford, Leslie and Nelson. Funeral service to held
2 p.m. Monday in St. Margaret's Bay Baptist Church, Head of St. Margaret's Bay,
Rev. Richard Moore officiating. Burial to follow in Baptist Church Cemetery,
Mason's Point. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Heart and Stroke
Foundation of Nova Scotia or St. Margaret's Bay Baptist Church, Head of St.
