HIGGINS, Edward Russell "Ted" - 83, Boutilier's Point, passed away October 3, 2005, in QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late William and Gladys (Kennedy) Higgins. He is survived by son, Gary, Bedford; grandchildren, Kevin, Boutilier's Point; Kelly, Cole Harbour; great-grandchildren, Jayvon and Makell; sisters, Bernice (Con), Mauretta; brothers, John (Joyce), Thomas (Pauline), James (Sheila); several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Violet; sisters, Doris, Mary, and daughter-in-law, Barbara. Visitation will be held today from 7-9 p.m., 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy's Cove Rd. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday in St. James Anglican Church, Boutilier's Point, Rev. Mark Marshall officiating.
