HINDLE, Shirley Eileen - 75, of Lakeside. It is with heavy hearts the family of Shirley Eileen Hindle announce her death on Friday March 13, 2009 in the VG Site, QEII surrounded by her family. Born July 15, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Olive (Lawlor) Power. Shirley is survived by her husband of 56 years, Raymond Hindle; daughters, Judy (Robert) Blackburn, Timberlea; Linda Hindle, Murphy Lake; Nancy (Gary) Eisnor, Aylesford Lake; Donna (Terry) Sherman, Whitehorse; sons, David (Margaret), Aylesford Lake; Kevin (Carol), Sackville; Brian (Kristen), Timberlea. Shirley was a loving Nannie to Debbie Foran, Heather Blackburn, Scott and Greg OíToole, Julie Crocker, Amanda and Krista McCarthy, Jennifer and Devin Hindle, Korey and Justin Hindle; and great-grandchildren, Colin, Megan and Jenna Foran. She is also survived by a brother, Douglas (Sylvia) Power, Saskatoon, Sask.; sister, Doris (Bernard) Day, Timberlea. Besides her parents she was predeceased by brothers, Charles, Roy, Donald; sisters, Kathleen and Violet; grandson, Jeffery Blackburn and great-grandson, Joshua Purcell. When Shirley got all her children in school she then went to work outside the home at Sears where she had many new friends and enjoyed it a lot. We would like to thank all the staff of 5A for the loving care and support shown to Shirley and her family. A special thanks to Dr. Lynn McAslan and the Palliative Care Team. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday March 17, 2008 in Saint Marguerite Bourgeoys Parish, Sacred Heart Church, Timberlea, with Father Joe MacKinnon officiating.
