| HOLDEN, Isabella Louise - 69, Glen Haven, passed
away Monday, August 28, 2006, in QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in
Corner Brook, N.L., she was a daughter of the late John and Marie (Shears)
Crocker. Isabella graduated as a registered nurse from the Victoria General
Hospital School of Nursing where she was employed for a number of years. She
raised two sons and then returned to nursing after completing a Psychiatric
Nursing Program and worked at the Nova Scotia Hospital in the Day Hospital and
Adolescent Wards. Isabella was also an active parishioner of St. Paul's Anglican
Church and a member of the "Idlers". She is survived by her loving husband of 45
years, John E.B.; sons, David Edward, Robert Jonathan, both of Halifax; brother,
Dr. John Crocker, Halifax; sister, Norma (Crocker) Hase, Birmingham, Ala. She
was predeceased by her sister, Elizabeth Ann "Banny" (Crocker) Beckett. Funeral
service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 1, in St. Paul's Anglican
Church, French Village, Rev. Mark Marshall officiating. Burial to follow in St.
Peter's Anglican Church Cemetery, Hackett's Cove. In lieu of flowers, donations
