
| HUBLEY (Seaboyer), Helen Mildred -95, Black Point passed away peacefully Sunday February 1, 2009, in Maplestone Enhanced Care, Halifax. Born in Queensland she was a daughter of the late J. Arthur and Sylvia (Meisner) Seaboyer. In her earlier years, Helen enjoyed a good game of cards with her "Happy Gang" friends and a daily crib game with husband, Kenneth. She loved to knit, crochet and embroider various items for family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Shelagh (Ken) Parker, Black Point; sons, Kenneth "Art" Jr. (Dorothy), Black Point; Laurie "Sonny" (Linda), Upper Tantallon; brother, Malcolm, Queensland; grandchildren, Ron, Terry, John and Lori Parker, Barbara and Paula Hubley; Brent and Darren Hubley; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth (1998); sisters, Rose, Aileen and Marjorie; brother, Reginald. The family will receive visitors 4-7 p.m. Thursday, February 5. Funeral service 2 p.m. Friday, both in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards. Rev. Laurie Omstead officiating.
