HENRY (Duggan), Frances Isobel - Glen Margaret, passed away peacefully July 16, 2001, surrounded by her loved ones. Born in East Dover, she was the daughter of Frances and George Duggan. After graduating from the Halifax Business College, she worked for many years for the Workman's Compensation Board and later for the Royal Commission on Broadcasting. She was a member of St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church in Glen Margaret. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. For over 20 years she volunteered at the IWK Health Centre and was a member of the Auxiliary, all of which she enjoyed very much. She was also an artist and a member of the French Village Painters. Surviving are her loving daughters, Leigh (Joel) Bahr, Wisconsin; Lynn (Wilson Boutilier) Henry, Glen Margaret; Christine (Richard) DeLong, Hammonds Plains; Cynthia Henry, Glen Margaret; Patricia (Marc) Pontbriand, Tantallon; precious grandchildren, Brent, Rebecca, Jocelyn and Alex; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, LCDR Robert Henry and her brother, Paul. Visitation in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Tantallon will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, July 18. Funeral will be held in Sacred Heart Church, Lakeside, Thursday 2 p.m., Archbishop Emeritus James M. Hayes officiating. Burial to follow in St. Margaret of Scotland Cemetery, Glen Margaret. The family wishes to give special thanks to the nurses and doctors of the Palliative Care Unit, VG Site, QEII. In lieu of flowers, donations to the IWK Health Centre or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
