Iyoupe, Frank Sheldon Jr. -54, Of Lakeside passed away Monday March 15, 2010 in the QEII Health Sciences Center, Halifax. Born in Halifax he was the son of Lorraine (Marriott) Iyoupe, Mahone Bay and the late Frank Sr. Iyoupe.

 

Frank was a kind gentle soul who had a love for life and laughter and loved sharing it with everyone. He always had a willingness to help anyone in need. He was a very hard worker and a jack of all trades. He spent most of his life as a long haul trucker with well over 30 years. Finally happy to be home off the road spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends. Frank had a passion for all things mechanical, starting with racing his first custom van to his Chevy Nova to finally his Brand New Boulevard C90T motorcycle. He will always be remembered as a wonderful father with a great smile that would light up a room, an exceptional grandfather and a loving husband and a truly loyal friend who will always be in our hearts forever and always who will always be in our hearts forever and always; we love you.

 

Survived by his wife Carol Duffley, daughter, Julia (Neil) Lynds, Shortts Lake; grandchildren, Austin and Emma Lynds; brothers, Donnie (Tina), Black Point; Patsy (Doug), Beaver Bank; David, Cornwall; Danny, Timberlea, and Darrell, Lakeside; best friend, Greg (Linda) Bell, Hatchett Lake. Predeceased by his brother, Fredrick Sade.

 

Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Friday March 19, 2010 in the Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy’s Cove Road, Tantallon. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday March 20th in the St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Parish, Lakeside. Father Joe MacKinnon officiating.
