JOHNSON, Amos Harris - 70, West Dover, passed away October 8, 2002, in the VG Site, QEII, Halifax. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Charles and Linnie (Cleveland) Johnson. Amos worked all his life in the fishing industry, retiring in 1995 from DFO Coast Guard with 13 years of service. He is survived by his wife, the former Shirley May Moulton; sons, Harris (Debra), Prospect Bay; Mark (Violet), White's Lake; sisters, Shirleen Morash, Vera Morash, Evelyn Publicover, all of West Dover; Bessie Collicutt, Chester; Vivian Bond, Saskatchewan; grandchildren, Trevor and Chelsie, Prospect. He was predeceased by brothers, Victor and Bill. Services have been entrusted to Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Tantallon. A committal service will be held 11.30 a.m., Wednesday, October 16, in St. James Anglican Church Cemetery, West Dover, Rev. Krista Hilton officiating.
