JOHNSON, Paul Ralton
- 64, Indian Harbour, passed away on Friday, June 25, 2010, in the VG Site,
QEII, Halifax. Born in Halifax on August 2, 1945, he was a son of the late
Ralton and Beulah Johnson (Indian Harbour). Paul was employed by the Federal
Government for 28 years, also the R.C.M.P, the Dockyard, Stadacona and
Dalhousie University, all in the maintenance department. Paul was also a
part-time fisherman. He started fishing in his youth with his father and
grandfather and then continued on his own. His love and passion was always
to be on the waters of St. Margaret's Bay where he grew up. Paul also
enjoyed hunting with his cousin Robert, and his son Garth. He is survived by
his wife, Margaret (Legere); son, Garth; brother, Philip; sister, Nancy;
grandchildren, Kyla Faith, Kimberley, Jonathon Carroll; nephew, Peter Arron.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Dinetia (Johnson)
Carroll. Paul was a devoted and loving son, husband, father and grandfather
and will be sadly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. The
family will receive visitors 7-9 p.m. Monday June 28, and 4-7 p.m. Tuesday
June 29 with funeral service 11 a.m. Wednesday June 30, all in Ronald A.
