JOLLIMORE, Blair Donald- 86, of Queensland,
passed away surrounded by his loving family Wednesday, September 2, 2009, in
South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Queensland, he was a son
of the late Davis and Annie Frail Jollimore. Blair retired in the 1970s from
Canadian General Electric with 28 years' service. Over the past few years he
assisted Dave Cone with marine research which he enjoyed immensely. He was
an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed the company of his many friends while hunting,
snowmobiling and ATV'ing to and from his camps on Vinegar Lake and Lake
Ainsley, Cape Breton and was always accompanied by his dogs. Over the years
he became fondly known as gramps and will be missed by his family and many
friends. Survived by son, Glen, Queensland; daughters, Darlene Berry,
Calgary; Heather Lyons, Thunder Bay, Ont.; nine grandchildren and one
great-grandchild. Predeceased by brothers, Austin, Margeson, Murray, Lee,
Harry, Avon, Bernie and Percy; sisters, Edna, Thelma and Margaret. Funeral
service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, September 5, in Ronald A. Walker
Funeral Home, Hubbards, Rev. Laurie Omstead officiating. In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made to St. Johns Anglican Church Cemetery, Queensland
