JOLLIMORE, Ethel Jean - 85, Queensland, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2008, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Black Point, she was the daughter of the late Nelson and Blanche (Brigley) Hayter. Ethel was an avid painter, enjoyed playing the uke and also loved to play bingo. She was a member of the former St. John's Anglican Church Guild, Queensland. In her earlier years she worked at Sears and also worked as a short order cook at Queensland Beach Canteen where it was said that she made "a hamburger a beautiful thing". She is survived by her daughter, Carol (Douglas) Floyd, Queensland. She was predeceased by her husband, Percy; brothers, Cecil "Aubbie", Douglas, and Kenneth Roy. A family committal service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, April 26, in Pine Hill Cemetery, Hubbards, Rev. Laurie Omstead officiating.
