| JOLLIMORE, William Kester "Bill" -58, passed away surrounded by love at home in Hackett's Cove, December 5, 2008, after a brave battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Irene; his parents, William and Geraldine Jollimore, Tantallon; his son, Shane (Lyn) Morash, Seabright; nephews, Timothy, Devin (Melinda), John and Jesse; nieces, Sara (Eric), Julia; great-nephew, Logan and great-nieces, Paige and Kelsie. He was predeceased by his only brother, John; and his maternal and paternal grandparents. Bill said he "squeezed more into his life than many people twice his age". He enjoyed many outdoor activities in every season, ice fishing and hunting in winter, planning and planting the garden in spring, riding his Harley anytime and especially the Harley "pig runs" to Cape Breton with David and/or Garrie, and the fall harvest of his crops, which he shared with friends. He worked in the logging industry in British Columbia; was a painter in Alberta and Nova Scotia; played music professionally through the 1980's with a band named Ritz; acquired a fishing license and boat in the 1990's and was a commercial fisherman until 1998. The loves of his life included his wife, Irene; his Harley Davidson; his guitars and his love of animals, especially his beagle Toby. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make his wish of being home throughout his ordeal, particularly, the Palliative Care Unit, Glenna, and Dr. Horton; Home Care and the VON and especially Pam Donoghue who got me through the last few days. Thank you to neighbours, friends and relatives for your thoughtful kindness. Bill and I would not have made it through the last few months if not for the unwavering friendship of David Randall, who was with us every step of the way - thank you. A service will be held Monday, December 8, at 11 a.m. in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy's Cove Rd., Tantallon. Private interment has already taken place in Oakridge Memory Gardens Cemetery in Sackville. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to an animal charity of your choice.
