
| JOLLYMORE, Donald Richard - 47, Sims Settlement, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2008, in QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Halifax, he was a son of Helen L. (Graves) Young, Sims Settlement, and the late Wilson Jollymore. Donnie worked a few years in the local fishing industry and spent 23 years working with Canxel in East River. He was an avid sportsman playing baseball and hockey. He took great pleasure in sport fishing on Fox Point Lake. Donnie will be remembered for his favourite welcome comment to his many friends, "Hello Pirate". Besides his mother, he is survived by his sons, Jeremy and Justin, both of Chester Basin; Logan and Landen, Martins Point; brothers, Robert, Lloyd (Joey), Sims Settlement; Wilson (Karen), Michael (Wendy), both of Mill Cove; sister, Debbie (Bobby) Harlow, Hubbards, and 13 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Reginald. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. today in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards. Funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday in St. Luke's Anglican Church, Hubbards, Rev. Laurie Omstead officiating. Burial to follow in St. James Anglican Church Cemetery, Fox Point.
