
| LINDSAY, Anthony John Harley Forbes "Hick" - 19, Halifax, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2002, as the result of a motor vehicle accident on Highway 101, in Mount Uniacke. Born in Halifax, he was the son of John and Heather (Slaunewhite) Lindsay. Hick graduated from Halifax West High School in 2001. He was employed at the Halifax Shipyards on the oil rigs and he had worked four summers as an animator on Citadel Hill. He sailed on the tallship Tole Moore, from Halifax to Louisbourg. Anthony was a cadet with the Army Reserves and was a member of the Colts Football Team winning three Provincial Championships. He was an avid Harley Davidson fan. Anthony was a people person and will be missed by his family and many friends. Besides his parents, surviving are sisters, Sarah and Susan, both in Ottawa; aunt and uncle, Kathy and Roger Dorey and cousin, Christopher, Boutilier's Point; aunt and uncle Donnie and Janice Lindsay and cousins, Matthew and Amanda, Halifax; many aunts, uncles and cousins, country-wide. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Gerald Jr. and Helen Slaunewhite; paternal grandparents, John and Francis Lindsay. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today and 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Highway 333, Tantallon. Funeral service will be held 12 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, in St. Margaret's Anglican Church, Tantallon, Rev. Marion Burns officiating. Burial in Baptist Cemetery, Mason's Point.
