LITTLE (Horne), Sandra Elizabeth "Sandy" - 63, Stillwater Lake, passed away on Monday, July 26, 2004, in the VG Site, QEII, Halifax. Born on April 6, 1941, in Halifax, Sandy was the daughter of Sophie (Boudreau) Horne, Halifax, and the late Gerald Horne. Raised and educated in Halifax she attended Saint Mary's Girls School, Sacred Heart Convent, and St. Patrick's High before beginning her secretarial career, spending several years employed at MSI and Central Trust. Besides her mother, Sandy is survived by her husband, Jon; son, Douglas (Tracy) Gilbert, Stillwater Lake; daughter, Janis Patrick, Stillwater Lake; grandsons, Donald and Richard; sister, Janis (Gerald) George and brother, Arthur (Dianne); several nieces and nephews. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Tantallon. Funeral mass will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Margaret's of Scotland Roman Catholic Church, Peggy's Cove Road, Glen Margaret, Father Jim Richards officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
