LOGAN, James Samuel - 76, Tantallon, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2006, surrounded by his loving family in the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Murdock and Winifred (Boutilier) Logan. James lived most of his life in St. Margaret's Bay. He retired from the Halifax Shipyards before working with the Halifax Bridge Commission. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, the former Genevieve Hubley; daughters, Jean, Glen Haven; Annette (Ernest Hubley), Seabright; grandchildren, Gary Logan, Erika and Angela Greenough. He was predeceased by brothers, Merle, Finely, Alton, and sister, Jean. Family will receive visitors Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with funeral service Thursday at 11 a.m., both in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy's Cove Rd., Tantallon, Rev. Mark Marshall officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of QEII Health Sciences Centre.
