MASON, David Roy - 55, Haliburton Hills, Stillwater Lake, died suddenly Thursday, September 12, 2002, in QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Halifax, May 17, 1947, he was the son of the late Roy and Min (Shackels) Mason. David never had an enemy; he was generous to a fault and dearly loved his family and friends. David loved his work at Environment Canada Weather Office and died playing hockey, the game he loved. He is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth (Blanchard); sons, Andrew and Aaron, both at home; sisters, Marilyn (Wayne) Christie, Boutilier's Point; Debbie (Doug) Stout, Head of St. Margaret's Bay; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 1-5 and 7-9 p.m. today in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Tantallon. Funeral service 2 p.m. Sunday in United Baptist Church, Head of St. Margaret's Bay, Rev.
