MATHERS, Liam Rory - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear, sweet Liam, who passed away suddenly Sunday, June 8, 2008, as the result of a motor vehicle accident. Born in Halifax on December 4, 1996, he was the son of Wilma J. Raaymakers, Hubbards, and the late Evatt R. Mathers. He was a bright light that touched so many lives. His mischievous smile, incredible imagination and love for life will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He was wise beyond his years and even at the tender age of 11 showed compassionate love for his family and friends. Besides his mother, he is survived by his brother, Riley Lamarche, Mill Cove; sister, Jennifer (Gary Sisson) Mathers, Dartmouth; nephew, Rory Sisson, Dartmouth; maternal grandmother, Anna Raaymakers, Wolfville; paternal grandmother, Jean Rita Mathers, Halifax; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by maternal grandfather, William Raaymakers; paternal grandfather, Evatt Robert Mathers Sr., and his cousin, Boyd Chisholm.
