
| MEISTER, Delbert St. Clare "Del" - 80, Halifax, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 6, 2005, in the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Forties, Lunenburg Co., he was a son of the late Michael and Hazel (Hiltz) Meister. Del was a well-known Halifax businessman and will be remembered as a loving father and beloved grandfather. He is survived by his companion, Pat LeFaive, Halifax; son, Delbert (Helen), Halifax; daughters, Pamela (Norman) Brooks, Bedford; Laurie Ann (Brian) Beaver, Halifax; brother, Charles (Geraldine), Bridgewater; sisters, Marguerite (Jack Rolfe), Halifax; Faye (Phil Backman), Chester Basin; Jean (Ernie) Pile, Toronto; Peggy Bale, Florida; grandchildren, Katrina, Lindsay, Mathew, Jodie, Tiffany, Chad; great-grandchild, Connor; a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Eva Murphy; brother, Ken; sisters, Helen and Alma. It was Del's wishes to return home to his birthplace. Funeral will be held 2 p.m. Monday, April 11, in St. Augustine's Anglican Church, Forties, Lunenburg Co., Rev. Leonard Bednar officiating. Burial in the church cemetery.
