MELANSON, Byron Edwin - 78, Hubbards, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 27, 2006. Born in Ragged Reef, Cumberland Co., he was a son of the late Raynold and Marjorie (Mills) Melanson. He is survived by his wife, the former Dora Sheck; son, Byron (Anita), Ontario; sisters, Geraldine Canning, Nancy Lee (Collin) Curleigh, both of Parrsboro; Jeannie Smith (David), River Herbert; granddaughter, Martina, and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, September 29, in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards. Funeral service will be 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Hubbards, Father Chinedu Chukwu officiating.
